● Design Origin & Timeline: IJsboerke–Koga Miyata was a Belgian professional cycling team competing from 1977 to 1980. IJsboerke, the famous Belgian ice cream producer, acted as the title sponsor, paired with Koga Miyata, the renowned Dutch bicycle manufacturer supplying the team race frames. Warncke Eis joined as the secondary sponsor. The squad took part in Belgian cobbled classics and major European stage races across its active years.

● Cycling Culture Behind The Design: Late 1970s Belgian pro cycling embraced bold vertical striped jersey designs to stand out in the peloton. The striking yellow and bright blue vertical stripes delivered high visual contrast for spectators, while the red, yellow and black trim at collar and cuffs referenced Belgian national colours, a classic feature of Belgian professional race kits of this era.

● Visual Theme: Bright yellow base decorated with wide vertical blue stripes running down the torso and sleeves. The collar and sleeve cuffs are finished with multi-band trim in red, yellow and black.

● Brand Markings: Large bold black "IJSBOERKE" lettering dominates the upper chest, with "KOGA MIYATA" and "WARNCKE EIS" printed below. Partial Koga Miyata branding appears on each short sleeve.

● Technical Features: Full-length centre-front zipper, classic short-sleeve race cut, lightweight breathable mesh fabric, finished hem with gripper binding, built for professional road racing performance.
